Evelyn BENCICOVA

Evelyn Bencicova è una creativa visiva slovacca nata a Bratislava nel 1992.
Specializzata in fotografia e direzione artistica sperimenta diversi media per dare vita ad opere d’arte che rispecchiano la sua personale visione del mondo . Ha studiato belle arti presso L’Università di Arti Applicate di Vienna. Evelyn lavora per diversi marchi di moda e di lusso come Gucci, Cartier e Nehera. Collabora inoltre con istituzioni culturali come Berghain, Kunsthalle Basel, il Slovak National Theatre and Ballet e il Museumsquartier di Vienna. Il lavoro commerciale e artistico di Evelyn Bencicova ha visto protagonisti Vogue Portugal, Vogue Czechoslovakia, ZEIT Magazine, ELLE, Dazed & Confused, GUP, HANT e Metal Magazin. I suoi lavori sono stati inoltre pubblicati su importanti piattaforme online (Juxtapoz, iGNANT. com, Fubiz media), libri fotografici internazionali. Ha partecipato a diverse mostre personali e collettive a Stoccolma, Londra, Tokyo, Parigi, New York, Berlino, Vienna, Milano, Amsterdam. Bruxelles, Praga e Roma.
Nel 2016, Evelyn ha vinto i prestigiosi premi Hasselblad Masters e Broncolor GenNext. È stata inoltre preselezionata e premiata da LensCulture, Independent Photographer, Gomma Grant, Life Framer, Tokyo International Photo Award e OFF Festival. Evelyn è stata inserita da Artpil fra le 30 under 30 / women photographers.
