Evelyn Bencicova is a Slovakian visual creative born in Bratislava in 1992.
Specializing in photography and art direction, she experimented with various media to create works of art that reflect her personal vision of the world. She studied fine arts at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. Evelyn works for various fashion and luxury brands like Gucci, Cartier and Nehera. She also collaborates with cultural institutions such as Berghain, Kunsthalle Basel, the Slovak National Theater and Ballet and the Museumsquartier in Vienna. The commercial and artistic work of Evelyn Bencicova featured Vogue Portugal, Vogue Czechoslovakia, ZEIT Magazine, ELLE, Dazed & Confused, GUP, HANT and Metal Magazin. Her works have also been published on important online platforms (Juxtapoz, iGNANT.com, Fubiz media), international photo books. She has participated in several solo and group exhibitions in Stockholm, London, Tokyo, Paris, New York, Berlin, Vienna, Milan, Amsterdam, Brussels, Prague and Rome. In 2016, Evelyn won the prestigious Hasselblad Masters and Broncolor GenNext awards. She was also pre-selected and awarded by LensCulture, Independent Photographer, Gomma Grant, Life Framer, Tokyo International Photo Award and OFF Festival.Evelyn was included by Artpil among the 30 under 30 / women photographers.
