Tedman & Strand è un brand d’arte co-fondata dall’artista Kate Tedman (b.1979, UK) e dall’artista / designer Samantha Strand (b. 1.986, USA). Attualmente creano opere durante i loro viaggi tra Camogli, Italia e Joshua Tree, California USA.

Tedman e Strand uniscono le loro forze alla fine del 2013. Entrambe provenivano da esperienze  molto diverse come l’interior design e la grafica, la pittura, la scultura, il restauro di edifici e le pratiche sociali. Sono presenti con le loro opere al Museo DeYoung, Yerba Buena center for the Arts, alla Galleria Wendi Norris a San Francisco, alla galleria Leila Heller, al Museo d’Arte contemporanea Aldrich a New York, e al Dubai International Finance center, Emirati Arabi Uniti.

Tedman & Strand producono collezioni di lavori che esplorano il desiderio di romanticismo all’interno della nostra realtà attuale, celebrando la canonizzazione del fallito, storico e antico in tempi tecnologici. La loro attuale collezione si compone di tappezzeria in seta mano-swen e opere dipinte su carta.
